Our innovative unpacking station D1 is the fully automated solution for the gentle depowdering of plastic parts manufactured using SLS technology. Compatible with proven systems such as EOS P3 and EOS P3 NEXT, it makes a decisive contribution to increasing efficiency and profitability in your production.
At its core is an intelligent, vibration-assisted unpacking process that treats your 3D-printed parts in a unique and particularly gentle way. This minimizes damage and scrap rates while ensuring consistently high part quality. At the same time, the fully automated depowdering achieves a powder recovery rate of up to 95% – depending on part geometry and process parameters. This significantly reduces unit costs lowers material consumption, and actively contributes to sustainable production.
For smooth operation, the D1 is equipped with an integrated powder storage system and a closed powder loop. This ensures maximum process reliability, eliminates direct contact with powder, and consistently protects the health and safety of your employees.
The D1 unpacking station can be flexibly integrated into your production. It is compatible with the EOS P3 and EOS P3 NEXT swap frames. Alternatively, removal via a fabric container offers particularly gentle and careful handling of the parts. This not only protects delicate parts but also makes the swap frame immediately available for the next build job – maximizing efficiency and ensuring continuous production.
The D1 also stands out with its flexible powder discharge options: material can be transferred either into a customized AM Solutions Polybox or into an EOS Multibox. The Polybox offers a capacity of up to 170 liters and, thanks to integrated rollers, is both convenient and easy to handle.
With storable process parameters, individual settings for recurring build jobs can be saved. This guarantees stable production conditions, maximum reproducibility, measurable time savings, and consistently high quality – all with minimal operator effort.
As the ideal complement, we recommend combining the D1 with our F1 powder handling unit. Used and virgin powder can be automatically sieved and precisely blended in the optimal ratio with the highest dosing accuracy – delivering noticeable cost savings and further enhancing production sustainability.
