The M1 is the ideal system for smart, flexible and automated post-processing of 3D-printed metal and plastic parts – produced using technologies such as SLS, MJF, HSS, SAF, SLM, and more.
Specially designed for individual parts and small batches, the M1 can handle workpieces up to 550 × 150 × 130 mm in size. It is particularly well-suited for finishing cylindrical and elongated geometries and is based on proven, cost-efficient mass finishing technology. This enables a wide range of processes – including smoothing, grinding, polishing, deburring, cleaning, and matting – ensuring consistently high and reproducible quality in a compact, space-saving system.
All media and compounds are developed and manufactured in-house to guarantee optimal process performance. The M1 combines numerous powerful features in a compact design, providing reliable support for a wide range of user requirements.
A tub vibrator with a vibrating bowl — using water, compound, and media — forms the core of the system and delivers precise, repeatable surface finishing. State-of-the-art process control technology ensures precision and reproducibility. Customized processing programs, tailored to specific workpieces and materials, can be easily stored and recalled at any time.
A flexible divider system allows multi-stage processing in up to three chambers simultaneously – enabling different processes to run in parallel without changing the media. The integrated separation unit with material trolley ensures simple and efficient separation of workpieces and media.
The M1 system offers two operating modes: stand-alone operation with a waste water tank, requiring no additional connections, or continuous operation with a fresh water supply for maximum process stability. The latter also enables advanced processes such as Keramo-Finish, where ceramic media and a process-specific polishing paste achieve extremely low surface roughness (Ra < 0.8) on metal parts.
